This includes a wash in the hydro bath, shampoos, chosen to compliment your dog’s skin and coat, followed by a fluff dry and brush out, with hygiene areas, ears and nails attended to. Once the coat is prepared, I then fully style your dog with scissors or clippers to your chosen requirements. This can be to breed standard, or you may opt for an alternative trim.

I will be happy to advise which style will best suit your dog’s appearance and lifestyle.

I will spend some time talking with you about your doggy’s health, skin, temperament and their likes and dislikes in order to find the right products and make the groom as nice as possible for the dog. Also if I find any skin or health issues during the groom I will let you know.

If you have anything particular in mind please tell me and if you have a photograph about a look you like bring it along.

Prices will vary depending on the size of the dog and the type of the coat.

I will also take into consideration the amount of time, effort and method used to complete the groom.

The price is likely to increase if your dog is nervous, aggressive, has certain health issues or the coat is in bad condition.

I offer free meet and greet sessions for new customers where you can come along with your dog for a consultation and I will give you a quote. Then you can decide if you want to book for a groom. This will take about 15 minutes.

This is an excellent choice for smoot coated breeds or between grooms to keep your doggy clean and tidy.

People often ask, how soon I should take my new puppy to the groomer. The answer is as soon as they completed their vaccination.

It is important to get your new fur baby comfortable with being groomed.

These sessions are very gentle and shorter then normal grooms. The aim is to help your puppy to get used to the grooming process and not be anxious in the future.

It is a gradual build up to a normal grooming session over months.

They are gently introduced to having their nails clipped, ears cleaned as well as the sound of the clippers and dryers.

These sessions are heavily discounted and start from £5.00

Hand stripping is a specialist method used to remove dead hairs from the coat by hand instead of clipping to keep the coat tidy and healthy.

Traditionally used on wire or silky coated breeds such as Terriers, Dachshunds, Schnauzers, Spaniels, Setters etc. The result is beautiful and healthy coat.

Emmi Pet is a non invasive ultrasonic teeth cleaning service to help prevent the build up of plaque and tartar.
